Part of the Little Girl series of saucer Magnolias, Jane is very similar to Ann but features reddish-purple blooms with a pale pink/white center. Blooming later than other varieties of Magnolias, the Little Girl series is less likely to be damaged by late frosts. Jane is larger in size, and a multi-trunked variety, with a shrub like appearance. This deciduous ornamental will get a bronze-yellow fall color. The fragrant blooms can be cut for inside enjoyment.
