POLLINATOR WEEK

Bee sure to join us for guest speakers, Danesa Stolz on Saturday, and Halyn Ferris on Sunday, during Pollinator Week in Fishers. They will each present fascinating explorations about the essential role of pollinators and their importance in our ecosystem.

Danesa Stolz will provide a presentation on natives/pollinators and showcase the available varieties at Wasson Garden Centers.

11 a.m.

Ball State University Orchid Collection Curator, Halyn Ferris will begin her discussion after the Kids' Bee Bath Workshop.

Halyn's presentation will delve into pollination as a symbiotic relationship, highlighting the various types of pollinators found in our region. Additionally, she will guide participants on identifying key flower traits that can attract specific pollinators to their gardens, helping to create a thriving, pollinator-friendly environment.

The speaking presentation / discussion is free to the public.
