Description:
Azure Rush Cranesbill has masses of light blue flowers with red-purple veins, which are most effective when planted in groupings. Its deeply cut lobed palmate leaves are forest green in color. This foliage performs best with some afternoon shade when in planted in hot and dry areas. As an added bonus, the foliage turns a gorgeous red in the fall. Cutting back midseason as new growth emerges from the base of the plant will help it seem like a new plant. Also, deadheading will encourage it to continue blooming longer into the season.
