Showing off in clouds of rich violet blue blooms, the Blue Moon Woodland Phlox gives off a wonderful fragrance in the woodland garden. Also used in shady rock gardens and other bright shade locations, this nativar will naturalize. Be sure to allocate appropriate spacing and plant in an appropriate site for better powdery mildew resistance. Prune after flowering has finished in early summer as cutting back in fall leads to winter failure. The Blue Moon Woodland Phlox features the same glossy medium green lance shaped foliage that can be found on the Garden Phlox varieties.
