Description:The Montmorency Cherry Tree is a sour or pie cherry that ripens in July. The fragrant white flowers in spring give way to large sized fruit that ripen to a bright red skin. They have amber-colored flesh that is both juicy and flavorful. These traits make it an excellent option for juicing, baked goods, and preserves. Self pollinating, this variety of cherry does not require a second variety for fruit set. It will, however, still benefit from having a second variety planted.
