Ginkgos are true 150 million year old relics with unique fan-shaped leaves. The Autumn Gold variety features a symmetrical, broadly spreading habit and consistent golden fall color that lasts for several weeks. These leaves will all drop within the span of just a few days to form a golden carpet, making fall cleanup a breeze. Autumn Gold does not produce fruit, being a male cultivar. Ginkgos are slow growing trees, on average only one foot a year. A distinct improvement on the species, it is a great choice for home landscape use.
