Deadhead spent blooms will encourage more blooms all season. Leave the last of the blooms on the plants to supply seeds for the song birds to eat in winter. Cheyenne Spirit Coneflower is used in naturalized areas with other native plants, in addition to perennial flower beds. Once established, it is drought tolerant. This coneflower is a nativar.
