Blue Moon Wisteria shows off with its lavender blue flowers multiple times a season! Just note that it needs to be established before it will bloom up to three times a season and also might not bloom the first season or two after planting. Fragrant, foot long racemes are clusters of pea-like flowers that can be used as cut flowers. This nativar is a heavy vine that requires sturdy support for its stems that twine counterclockwise. As it ages, these stems become twisted and trunk-like. Minimal pruning is needed, just tip pruning after blooming or in winter to control its shape and size. Blue Moon Wisteria is a hardy variety, having been bred in Minnesota.
