The Sensational! Lavender is considered to be a true sensation of a perennial. It features better heat, humidity, and cold tolerance than many other lavenders. The flowers are also larger and open, yet still densely packed on the flower spikes. It has a significant rebloom, which can be even more sensational when the plant is deadheaded. This lavender can be utilized in the same way as previous lavenders, including both fresh and dried. Fragrance is still found in both the blooms and the silver foliage. As with other lavenders, this one prefers drier soils, including sandy soils.
