Description:
The Purple Flame Iris is so named due to its flowers and foliage. The foliage will turn purple when grown in wet soils. It actually thrives when planted in wetlands and at pond edges. The flowers are a purple-blue with yellow throats. These blooms can be used in fresh floral arrangements. When needed, divide in late summer.
