Description:Thriving under part sun/part shade, Variegated Japanese Forest Grass features bright gold and green striped foliage in a graceful arching habit. This gold color becomes diluted to more of a chartreuse green in more shade. In autumn, this foliage turns to red and purples before fading to tan for the winter. Yellow-green flowers emerge in mid to late summer. This grass adds an extra texture to any shade garden., especially planted with Heucheras and Hostas. Cut this grass back to 3-4 inches above the ground in early spring.
