Latin Name: Leucanthemum superbum ‘Daisy Duke’
Height: 18 – 20 inches
Spread: 20 – 22 feet
Sunlight: Full Sun
Bloom Time: June to August
Hardiness Zone: 5-9
Description:
Marshmallow Shasta Daisy features prolific large, fully double blooms of bright white rays with yellow centers. These blossoms average 3.5 inches in diameter and have a puffy experience, just like the food marshmallow. Deadheading of the spent blooms is not necessary but it will improve the appearance. It may or may not increase the bloom time frame. The compact and round habit is an excellent form for the perennial flower bed. Use of these blooms (on their strong stems) is quite common in fresh floral arrangements.
