Description:
The Samaritan Jo Clematis is named in honor of the many volunteer hours given by Samaritans to people in distress. Silver-white blooms are tinged pink and edged in white. These blooms occur in June and July, with a rebloom occurring in September. For better blooms, prune back to 6 inches after the first round of blooms; ensure the roots are mulched. This clematis should also be cut back to 6 inches in late winter to early spring (Group 3/Type C). Provide a trellis or structure for vertical support.
