The Jelly Bean Blueberry features unique, elongated foliage with highlights of red. This foliage will change to yellows and reds in autumn. White flowers in May give way to the blueberries, which ripen in mid-summer. This variety of blueberry does great in a container or in the ground when massed. It is also one of the self-pollinating varieties. Blueberries prefer acidic soil, so it is recommended to apply aluminum sulfate.
