Triple Crown is a thornless blackberry with firm, large black fruits that ripen in mid to late summer. The fruits are both sweet and tart, perfect for eating, baking, and preserving. One plant can bear approximately 13 pounds of fruit once established. Semi-erect, this is a fast growing variety that benefits from being supported by a trellis. Remove the oldest canes each year after harvest is finished. This blackberry is self-pollinating and can propagate from the tips of the canes rooting into the soil. The flower blooms are white.
