The plump, sweet red cherries found on the Stella Cherry tree are good for not just eating fresh but also for canning, freezing, and drying. The fragrant white flowers give way to dark red skinned fruits that ripen in early summer. Self-pollinating, Stella will still benefit from a second variety being planted. Stella Cherries start bearing fruit at a younger age than most other Cherry varieties.
