Spread: 12 - 15 feet

Sunlight: Full Sun

Bloom Time: April

Hardiness Zone: 4-9

Description:

Honeycrisp Apple has fragrant white blossoms that give way to apples in early September that have super crisp yellow flesh. The complex flavor is both sweet and tart, making it a great option for applesauce, baking, and cooking, as well as fresh eating. These apples do not hold their flavor as well when shipped and stored, so growing your own has the benefit of sweeter and better tasting fruits. Fruits will last for three months in a cool dry location, and six months in refrigeration. Honeycrisp performs better when planted with a cross pollinator, such as, but not limited to, Gala, McIntosh, Granny Smith, Macoun, Golden Delicious, and Red Delicious. The fragrant blossoms can be cut and enjoyed inside the home.
