Description:

Ohio Spiderwort is an upright, clump forming perennial with arching, blue green foliage. Blue to lavender blooms with yellow stamens are found in clusters at the end of the flower stems. Each individual bloom is only open for a day. This native perennial does best with at least a part shade condition, although flowers are better when the plant is given more sun. Cut back in midsummer to 6-12 inches to promote fresh growth and a neater appearance. Deadhead to prevent self-seeding if desired.
