Description:
Brandywine Viburnum is a nativar that features aromatic white flowers in clusters. These give way to green berries that ripen to vivid pink and blue. These berries are edible but highly acidic. The glossy dark green leaves turn dark maroon red in autumn. Prune after flowering to shape as needed, although this might reduce the berry production; leave the flower clusters when pruning. Brandywine serves as a companion pollinator to Winterthur Viburnum but does not require it for berry production.
