Description:
Lilafee Epimedium is known for being a clump forming perennial that holds its spurred lavender purple flowers (resembling miniature orchid blooms) above its foliage. The foliage itself provides multiple seasons of interest, with new oval leaflets emerging beige with red before maturing to green. Cooler fall weather signals the leaves to change to red. These leaflets are located on wiry stems. Epimedium is a popular woodland plant that will spread by rhizomes and is useful for erosion control.
