Description:
Tuff Stuff Top Fun blooms on both old and new wood, all summer long, on bright burgundy stems. Lacecap flowers have green fertile center florets and can vary between purple and pink infertile star shaped florets depending upon the pH of the soil. Our clay soils typically give pink flowers, so add Aluminum Sulfate or Soil Acidifier for blue colors. Mountain Hydrangeas should only have spent blooms removed, dead and broken branches pruned out, and lightly shaped in the spring. They also benefit from watering during hot or dry spells.
