In an explosion of yellow in autumn, this nativar truly resembles fireworks when in bloom. The Fireworks Goldenrod features tiny, bright yellow flowers in dense plume-like panicles on arching stems. It is clump-forming, with alternate leaves. During its blooming season, it is often loaded with pollinators visiting its flowers. After these blooms fade and the seeds form, birds will visit to eat the seeds. The flowers can also be used either fresh or dried. Divide the goldenrod as needed to control its growth. Goldenrod does not cause allergies.
