A Fresh Twist on Romance: Fall in Love with Flavorette® Roses (On Your Plate!)
Roses are red, violets are blue… but what if your roses were also edible and bursting with flavor too? Say hello to a brand-new way to fall in love with roses—on your plate, added to a special cocktail, or mocktail!
The Flavorette® line of edible roses is where garden beauty meets gourmet dishes. These blooms aren’t just for admiring—they’re ready to spice up your summer salads, desserts, cocktails, and more.
A Feast for the Eyes and Taste Buds
These aren't your grandmother’s rose bushes. Flavorette® Honey-Apricot has a sweet, fruity taste and fragrance, and the Flavorette Pear'd® possesses a sweet, savory pear flavor––perfect mashups of style and substance.
The luscious, bowl-shaped blooms come packed with petals and perfume, and they’re blooming machines—delivering waves of color and fragrance all summer long. Think of them as your garden’s overachievers that also moonlight as a five-star garnish. Whether you're a foodie, a flower lover, or someone who just wants their plants to work a little harder (beauty AND flavor, please), these roses deliver.

Pro Tips
To keep your Flavorette® Roses in top form, prune in early spring (cut back by about one-third, just above a healthy bud as these produce the most vigorous growth).
Fertilize with a granular rose food when pruning. We like Espoma Rose Tone (we have this available in our Wasson Garden Centers!) it is an organic fertilizer created specifically for roses. For combatting pests on roses, Neem Oil and insecticidal soap are recommended as they are non-toxic to humans and safe to use on edible plants and vegetables.
Deadheading is optional—but not required for re-blooming.
Good drainage and average soil are all they need to thrive. Bonus: they also make gorgeous cut flowers for that vase-on-the-kitchen-counter vibe.
