Leaves are soft, velvety, and thick. In milder winters, foliage is semi-evergreen. While it can flower, this variety does not do so reliably. When it does on the rare occasion, the blooms are small, inconspicuous, and a pinky-purple color. Big Ears Lamb's Ear is an excellent selection for sensory gardens and adds texture and color to the perennial garden. Foliage can be used for short term flower arrangements.
